The company\u2019s marketing needed reenergizing, but it couldn\u2019t compete dollar-for-dollar. It was decided that social media could be leveraged to raise brand awareness and loyalty for a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution<\/strong>: I created the company\u2019s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts, developed the content strategy and ad strategy, and provided strategic and daily management for over 12 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results<\/strong>: For more than a decade, <strong>Tiger Balm U.S. social media earned more fan engagement<\/strong> than any of 18 (eighteen!) competitive U.S.-based pain relief brands. <strong>Total fan engagement during that time was 50% higher <\/strong>than that of the closest competitor. In fact, when measured against the eight Canadian-based brands, Tiger Balm Canada has earned 76% of all engagement on Facebook and Instagram over the past five years. Roar, eh?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h3>Putting a New Wrinkle on Things: eb5 Skincare<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenge: <\/strong>eb5 Skincare specializes in anti-wrinkle skin care products and originally targeted its marketing efforts toward older consumers. However, the company wanted to expand its user base by raising awareness among a younger audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Solution: <\/strong>I utilized social media to reach younger consumers. Working with well-established health and beauty influencers, I arranged product reviews and product giveaways through their social media channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Results: Dozens of positive reviews<\/strong> touting the company\u2019s products, and <strong>more than 18 million social media impressions<\/strong> over a nine-month period. The company\u2019s social media had never been given the attention it required to be successful.
